The Laundry Resolution

All of my life, I have either had A) Laundry in the basement OR B) No laundry at all-laundry mat. I've always dreamt of a laundry room. Pinterest is full of beautiful, bright, airy, serene rooms to wash and fold, and I was always in a dark spider filled space doing the chore I probably hate the most.

A laundry room was like a walk in closet. A super great thing to want, but never a necessity when we were house shopping. So when I saw that this house had a main floor laundry room, I nearly cried.

I haven't done much, but purchase new machines (you can see here, and here, I got them for a steal), and put in my good old Ikea Tarva hacked dresser (we store all of Luis' construction close in there) but I have plans for new light fixtures, shelving, and possibly some sort of cabinetry.

See all of those hoses? They will be hidden by shelving. See all of that laundry in the dryer? It's not going to fold itself!
This little garden stool Penny is sitting on is all kinds of multi purpose. I even use it in photoshoots! $15 from Hobby Lobby!
