NCL Sky, Day 1

We had to get up pretty early in the morning to catch the Magical Express back to the airport. We were not flying home though. We had a minivan rented to take the 3+ hour journey to Miami so that we can hop on our 3 day Bahamas cruise ship, the Norwegian Sky.

It was the fastest 3 hours, although some other people will tell you differently. Once in Miami, the guys dropped us ladies off at the cruise terminal, and they took the car back. Then we all met up and started the boarding process. It was relatively fast, and once we had our key cards we were welcome to board.

Let me tell you about this ship and itinerary. It was 3 nights, first day in Nassau, second day at Great Stirrup Cay. A real party crowd. Lots of Bachelorette parties, 21st Birthdays, and just people getting away to drink, a lot. There were a few families on board, but mostly partiers.

So once on deck, it was just that, a big party. We jumped right in the kiddie pool, wich was all the way forward and perfect for little Pennyenny. Then we found our room, wich was on deck 6A, a half floor, and it was super inconvenient, since there was only a staircase to access it, no elevator. But we survived, and carried the stroller up and down every time with ease. It was a little room, but they provided us with a pack and play, and Penny slept in it just fine.

We explored the ship, ate in the buffet, attended the alcohol tasting, and finished the night with a nightcap and esspresso. Tomorrow: Nassau, Bahamas.
